All our training programs are governed by Opal-RTs training policies.

OPAL-RT EUROPE TRAINING ACADEMY SALES CONDITIONS
ARTICLE 1 – PRESENTATION
Opal-RT Europe is a simplified company with shares/limited by shares with a 40 000€ Capital registered under the n° 518 965 041 at the chamber of commerce. In the frame of its activity of manufacture and distribution of real-time digital simulators, Opal-RT Europe develops, offers and hands out training intra and inter-companies.
ARTICLE 2 - OBJECT
These General Sales Conditions apply to any physical person that is a candidate or is registered to an inter-companies training which Opal-RT manages the admission process and delivers a certificate, and to moral persons that register and take in charge the fees of the training of one of their employee. The fact to register or to sign the training convention implies the total membership and without reservation of the attendee and/or his employee to the present general sales conditions.
ARTICLE 3 – REGISTRATION
a) Registration
The pre-registration is possible by phone +33 (0)1 41 73 08 29, e-mail (nacerine.rebia@opal-rt.com) and online: www.opal-rt.com. Opal-RT Europe will confirm the registration by e-mail when the online registration is done.
Payment
Payment for the training can be done by check, Visa and Mastercard. 660€/day or 1650€ for the full week.
Academic Discount
Any academic researcher, faculty member that belongs to an accredited university is automatically entitled to a 20% off the price of our regular training programs.
Group Discount
Any groups over three people are entitled to a 20% off the price of our regular training programs.
b) Notice to attend
A notice of attendance is sent to the signatory of the registration for transmission to the attendee, at least a week before the beginning of the training. The information for access to the site and accommodation advice will be on the website.
ARTICLE 4 – TRAINING CONVENTION
Applying dispositions L.6353-I and following of the French employment law, a training convention is made between Opal-RT Europe, the employer and eventually the attendee.
ARTICLE 5 – PERIOD OF WITHDRAWAL
From the signature of the training convention, the attendee or the employer has a 7 days withdrawal period.
ARTICLE 6 – MEALS AND ACCOMMODATION
The room reservation is managed individually by attendees. A list of hotels can be found on the website.
Breakfasts and lunches are included in the fees.
ARTICLE 7 - TRAINING
a) Supervision and pedagogical staff
Every training is conceived and lead by engineers and high level specialist in the technical field.
b) Technical means
The attendee benefits from the structure of Opal-RT Europe in the premises of Viveris (rooms, WI-FI access, PC).
c) Documentation
A documentation conceived for the training is given to every attendee.
d) Certificate
At the end of the training, Opal-RT Europe will deliver a “certificate of attendance to the training”.
ARTICLE 8 – CANCELLATION CONDITIONS
a) Cancellation during the withdrawal period
During the 7 days after the signature of the training convention, the attendee can cancel its participation on condition that he informs Opal-RT Europe by registered mail or by fax.
b) Cancellation of the registration on the attendee or employer’s initiative
The training date is determined by Opal-RT Europe and accepted by the attendee or his employer at the time of the registration.
Any cancellation coming from the attendee must be written (registered mail, e-mail or fax) to Opal-RT Europe.
In case of cancellation, delay or modification of an order by the attendee or his employer, compensatory damages will be due to Opal-RT Europe according to the following conditions:
- 100% of the amount in case of cancellation within 10 days before the beginning of the training
- 50% of the amount in case of cancellation between 11 and 15 days before the beginning of the training
- No compensation in case of cancellation over 15 days before the beginning of the training.
In case of impeachment, the replacement is accepted at any time. The change of attendee must nonetheless be notified to Opal-RT Europe by fax or e-mail before the beginning of the training. No withdrawal will be accepted after the beginning of the training session.
c) Insufficiency of the number of attendees to a session
In the case the number of attendees is insufficient for the good sequence of the training, Opal-RT Europe reserves the right to cancel a session, without compensation or penalty for the attendee or his employer.
d) Force majeure
Opal-RT Europe could not be held responsible to the attendee or his employer in case of non-fulfilment of its obligation due to a force majeure event in the sense it is recognized by French law.
ARTICLE 9 – INTELECTUAL PROPERTY
Opal-RT Europe and those who intervene are the only owners of the intellectual property rights of the whole training they offer to attendees. For that purpose, the whole content and pedagogical aids, whatever the form, used by Opal-RT Europe for the training, remain the exclusive property of Opal-RT Europe and those who intervene. In that capacity, they can not be the subject of using, reproduction or transformation without the explicit agreement of Opal-RT Europe. In particular, the attendee forbids himself to use the content to train other people and commit his responsibility on the basis of articles L. 122-4 and L. 335-2 and following on the code of intellectual property.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, transmission, distortion, total or partial, of the content of the training is strictly forbidden.
ARTICLE 10 – INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND FREEDOM
Personal data concerning the attendee will be treated by computer.
In accordance with the law “information technologies and freedom” of January 6th 1978 modified, the attendee has a right of access, correction and deletion of personal data that concerns him/her.
ARTICLE 11 – APPLICABLE LAW
Hereby general conditions of sales are governed by French law. In case of a dispute between the attendee or his employee and Opal-RT Europe, at the occasion of the application of the contract, the settlement will be subject to the court of competent jurisdiction of Paris.
