Abstract

This report discusses how Dymola solves certain difficult problems for hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HIL) of automotive systems. Two types of benchmark models have been chosen to demonstrate the capabilities of Dymola: a transmission model and a set of vehicle dynamics models. Evaluation of the benchmark problems has been made on RT-LAB from Opal-RT, demonstrating real-time performance of complex models.
