MB898F-R ATX Motherboard Configuration on TestDrive chassis for multicore simulation
Question:
I want to run a multicore simulation on TestDrive but the second core of the dual core is not detected on the MB898F-R ATX Motherboard. What can I do?
Answer:
You need to activate the "APIC" option in the BIOS. This option is usually disabled by default so you need to activate it. It is needed when using multi-processor. This will allow you to use both cores. This has shown to be a functional solution to run TestDrive models with FIU-USB process on the second core if and only if the SMP feature is enabled.
