Technology understanding and advances often find their genesis within the realm of education and research. Opal-RT encourages advanced study and research of electrical and mechanical systems and how they can be applied in automotive, aerospace, transportation and power generation. However, the complex systems being studied in these fields can require equipment that is sometimes very expensive, or possibly not available.

In support of this, Opal-RT has designed an attractive program to provide reduced-cost access to our real-time, rapid control prototyping and hardware-in-the-loop (RCP and HIL) simulation tools.
