PMSM inverter with AC-side diode rectifier

This demo implements a permanent magnet motor drive fed by a 3-phase diode rectifier.

In this model, a permanent magnet motor is driven by a PWM IGBT inverter. The dc bus is fed by 3-phase 200 V 60 Hz source through a diode rectifier. The PWM carrier frequency is 9k Hz. The dead time of IGBT inverter is taken into account in the simulation model.

This model includes diode rectifier, IGBT inverter, a permanent magnetic motor, and their controls. Various phenomena, such as characteristics of AC-DC and DC-AC converters; permanent magnetic motor drive; effects of converter misfire and dead time; can be studied and validated with this model.
